In this presentation, Fred George of ThoughtWorks talks about agile practices and how they help with the introduction of Ruby into a company. He shows how pair programming, quick development cycles and unit testing really help in Ruby programming, even for developers that are not yet very experienced in the language.
Also, coming from a Smalltalk background, he shows how Ruby's flexibility and features such as open classes can help developers write code that's not just shorter, but clearer and less error prone.

If you're interested in the adoption of Ruby and agile methods in the enterprise, and how to achieve it, watch the Applying Ruby to Agile presentation.
