The Agile Alliance has anounced that the program for the Agile 2013 conference to be held in Nashville, Tennessee on 5-9 August 2013.

There were over 1100 submissions for the 15 tracks in the conference, covering the whole range of Agile practices, methods, brands and approaches.  The organizers selected a  total of 210 session to be included in the conference. The full program can be viewed here.

There are still opportunities for prospective speakers to submit ideas for Lightning Talks - 3-7 minute brief presentations on topics which will be voted on for the available slots.

Conference chair Kent McDonald spoke about the submissions:

With more than 1,100 program session submissions this year, and only 210 able to make the cut, we believe this year's program is a very strong one, I want to personally thank everyone who submitted a submission proposal and all of the reviewers from the community that commented and provided feedback throughout the program development process. It is inspiring to see continued passion and momentum from our industry, and how the value and impact Agile-based methods are building for developers and their organizations.

The theme for this year's conference is celebrating "getting Agile done".  McDonald went on to say:

While Agile2013 offers the greatest breadth of learning and content of any industry event, this year's program focuses on sharing experiences, ideas and creativity for "doing" Agile in a useful and meaningful way. The Agile2013 program is presented through multiple 'tracks' to provide participants with a focused area of interest while offering attendees a wide variety of topics to choose from.

A significant addition to this year's conference is the new DevOps track.
