The Agile Alliance has announced the speaker lineup and program for the Agile 2015 conference and the speakers for the Agile Executive Forum

Agile 2015 is expected to bring together around 2200 people to explore all aspects of agile development and will be held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Centre in Washington, DC 3-7 August 2015.

Agile 2015 Conference Chair Paul Hammond said

This year we received more than 1,200 submissions for 200 speaking slots. It was challenging to narrow down the selection because there were so many fantastic proposals. We are extremely proud of the program that has been assembled this year. It showcases a diverse, talented group of thought leaders in the Agile community who will share their passion and advance the use of cutting-edge Agile practices at the team level and throughout the enterprise

The program is spread over 16 tracks in four broad areas

  • People
  • Process at Scale
  • Technical
  • Special, which includes a government focused track

The Agile Executive Forum runs in parallel with the first day of the Agile 2015 conference at the Centre for Innovative Technology in Herndon, Virginia.  The Executive Forum is aimed at C-Level and senior leaders in large organizations and provides them with an opportunty to network and explore the challenges and opportunities inherent in adopting agile at scale.

Executive Forum Chair Sanjiv Augustine said

At the 2015 Agile Executive Forum, we’re excited about both building on past events, and extending into the future of Agile.  Our theme is Building the Lean Enterprise, and we’re thrilled to have executive speakers from the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services, Walmart, AOL, Paychex, and Cox Target Media;  each sharing battle stories and focusing on their own leadership journey.  Nicole Forsgren from Chef will be sharing her perspective on how DevOps can drive the bottom line in a Lean Enterprise.  On our Scaling Agile Panel moderated by Dot Tudor, we’ll be looking to world renowned thought leaders Dean Leffingwell, Craig Larman and Scott Ambler for practical advice on implementing the SAFe, LeSS and DAD frameworks for scaling agile.
