For me, around 5 min 50s, (right when Rich starts showing a complex diagram, it seems,) InfoQ's presentation of his slides is replaced with a "broken image" symbol. Could you please post the slides as a PDF?
Best regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thank you for noticing this. The slide synchronization is now fixed. We cannot post the slides as downloadable PDF as we don't have permission from the speaker to do so.

Glad to see a healthy regard for prior art.
Would like to see other languages and developers adopt these ideas.
LISP syntax is something I am still trying to warm up to ... maybe one day ...

Video works for me. There are no slides - Rich does not like to release them.

Before I updated Chrome to the latest version, it was likely not showing me the (Flash-based) video because the older Flash version in the older Chrome was known to be vulnerable.
It's too bad that what InfoQ displays when it thinks you don't have Flash doesn't say "we wanted to use Flash but you don't have it" or some such.
I now can see the video, and I expect it will be much more useful than the MP3.
Thanks.
