Summary

Tyler McMullen discusses load balancing techniques and algorithms such as Randomized Least-conns, Join-Idle-Queue, and Load Interpretation. Load balancing perfectly may be impossible in the real world, but we can do better than “random,” “round-robin,” and naive “least-conns”.
