Summary

Bert Laverman is a Senior Software Architect and Developer at AxonIQ, with over 25 years of experience, the last years mainly with Java. He was co-founder of the Internet Access Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that was instrumental in unlocking the north and east of the Netherlands to the Internet. Starting as a developer in the nineties he moved to Software Architecture, with a short stint as a strategic consultant and Enterprise Architect at an insurer. Now at AxonIQ, the startup behind the Axon Framework and Axon Server, he works on the development of its products, with a focus on Software Architecture and DevOps, as well as helping customers.
