Resumo
On this talk, I'll tell you a story about introducing Elixir at Globo.com while doing my daily job. From this story and others from my career, I extracted some patterns to share with you, about how to identify these opportunities, create something valuable and convince the company that this is the right move for them.

Problem solver. Passionate programmer. My goal is to always seek for how I can create value for somebody. 19 years working professionally, I've worked for web portals, insurance, telecommunications, banks, among others. Programmer language agnostic.
Sobre o Evento
THE CONF was founded in 2017 as an annual conference to fill the gap of instituting an International-level event in Brazil, where all speakers present in English. That way we can finally have a body of presentations that anyone in the world can consume and a venue where anyone in the world can attend. The goal is to showcase what interesting new tech, such as Data Sciences, Brazilians are working on, and integrate nearby countries and the rest of the world in the future.
