Laura Cowen is a technical editor and technical content strategist at IBM, where she works with IBM’s open-source Java projects Open Liberty and Quarkus. She has a Masters in Human–Computer Interaction and Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology. She previously worked as a technical writer and user experience (UX) designer across various enterprise products. Laura’s current focus is on providing useful, relevant information to help Java developers be productive and learn how to write AI-infused Java applications.
