Her research focuses on what makes modern work challenging. She is particularly interested in supporting jobs that require coping with complexity, managing multiple competing goals, navigating uncertainty, and handling time pressure across human-machine teams. She is an international keynote speaker, a mentor and advocate for women in STEM. Laura loves learning and sharing knowledge both with colleagues and audiences around the world and across domains to promote greater understandings of everyday work.
