Are Traditional Project Managers De-Agilizing Projects?
In Slouching Towards Waterfall David Nicolette writes that few organizations have a sufficient number of people at the level of team leads and project managers who are knowledgeable about lean and agile methods. These traditional thinkers try and "rein in" agile teams by "controlling" them with a traditional management process, thereby reducing the effectiveness of the team if not putting the project at risk.
