Summary
Dale Schumacher presents several patterns of actor interaction that can be used in collaborative programs written in any language.

Bio
Dale Schumacher’s work as a developer, mentor and coach in the areas of OOAD, UML and Agile methods has led him to the application of collaborative organizing principles for structuring software systems. He sees this as a natural fit with the Actor model of computation. His has been building actor-based software solutions, including the development of the pure-actor language Humus.

About the conference
Strange Loop is a multi-disciplinary conference that aims to bring together the developers and thinkers building tomorrow's technology in fields such as emerging languages, alternative databases, concurrency, distributed systems, mobile development, and the web.

    no slides?

This looks like a very interesting presentation, but it is hard to learn anything without the slides!

    Presentation quality

I'm very interested in such presentations, unfortunately quality of this one is terrible. No slides and code is very difficult to read from the video.

Wouldn't it be better to connect presentation UI element with shared laptop desktop?

Any one knows good book/article where this pattern is explained?
