Summary
Mark Little makes an introduction to cloud computing pointing to the fact that the middleware needs of the cloud are similar to SOA’s, showing some of the benefits of running SOA along with the cloud, asking if cloud computing and SOA should evolve together and giving some future directions to consider.

Bio
Dr Mark Little is Red Hat's Technical Development Manager of the SOA Platform, Director of Standards and representative on the Java Executive Committee. Prior to joining JBoss, he was Chief Architect and co-founder at Arjuna Technologies and a Distinguished Engineer at HP, leading the development of the world's first Web Services transactions product. He is also the co-author of several books.
