Bio

Håkan Råberg has programmed professionally for over 15 years and unprofessionally close to 30. He has plied his trade across the globe in Sweden, London, Bangalore and San Francisco – mainly via ThoughtWorks. Today he works as an independent consultant in The City of London, specializing in euthanasia of legacy Java systems. He’s the author of shen.clj and Enumerable.java.

Why a conference on emerging programming languages? As new problems in computing arise, new languages are being created to help tackle those problems. We want to bring together programming language creators, researchers, and enthusiasts to share goals, experiences, and challenges. Our goal is advancing the state of the art in programming language design and implementation.
