Summary
In this presentation filmed during QCon SF 2008, Jonathan Trevor presents two Yahoo! technologies: Pipes and Y! Query Language (YQL). Both technologies can be used to process data obtained from various sources, but while Pipes is limited to Yahoo web services, YQL can process many types of data.

Jonathan Trevor works in the Platform group at Yahoo!, where he gets to improve, innovate, and create various Yahoo! applications and services like Pipes. Prior to Yahoo! he was a senior research scientist at FX Palo Alto Laboratory, where he worked on mobile and ubiquitous systems, computer-supported cooperative work and human computer interaction.
