Summary
The Google Data API (GData) provides a query language and Atom to provide search, read, and update capabilities to Google assets, including Calendar, Blogger, Picasa, CodeSearch, and Google Base.

Bio

Frank Mantek joined Google in 2005 to work on the Google Data API. Previously, at Microsoft, he worked on SQLXML, Internet Explorer, and other Microsoft technologies. When he is not working he enjoyes playing the Djembe really loud.
