Preetam Dasgupta

Preetam Dasgupta is a Senior Tech Lead in the Microsoft AI organization, where he plays a pivotal role in delivering AI-based Sports and Finance recommendations, data ingestions, and real-time event notifications to a vast user base of over 10 million daily Windows users globally. With a 12-year tenure in the industry, he specializes in building large-scale distributed backend systems, cloud microservices, and Machine Learning applications. Before joining Microsoft, Preetam was a Senior Software Engineer at AWS Messaging and Amazon Retail Payments for eight years, developing a serverless AWS messaging platform and leading Amazon’s payment system integrations with Visa and MasterCard. Preetam holds three active US Patents related to autonomous workflows in the AWS and has authored five IEEE Journals/Conference Research publications, exploring diverse Machine Learning topics such as Swarm Intelligence and Neural Networks.
