She has dedicated her career to designing and implementing programs that promote the sustainable use of critical resources to improve the quality of everyday life. McNally is a Steering Committee member of the Green Software Foundation, an open-source, non-profit consortium of members who collaborate to develop standards and principles that promote green software practice and policy.
