CodeRush on Roslyn

Facebook Nuclide Is Now Open Source
Announced three months ago during the F8 developer conference, Facebook has open sourced the code for their Nuclide IDE. Nuclide is based on Atom, adding a number of packages without changing anything in the core of GitHub’s IDE.

Google Moves Dart to GitHub and Kills the Chrome Dev Editor
Google designed Dart as a better language for the web, for developers who wanted a more solid language and tools than what existed in the JavaScript ecosystem. Also, they aimed for better performance. While Dart is certainly more robust and better designed than JavaScript and it outperforms JavaScript on several benchmarks, the language has seen several setbacks.

Install Eclipse Projects with a lot more Oomph
At last week's EclipseCon, Eike Stepper and Ed Merks introduced Eclipse Oomph, which aims to simplify the out-of-the-box experience for Eclipse installations, facilitating IDE setup and project checkouts. Eclipse Oomph is available as a standalone installer for Eclipse and is built into Eclipse Mars packages, which are available as M6 releasees with a release date of June 2015.

JetBrains Releases AppCode 3.1 Preview with Improved Swift Support
JetBrains has released AppCode 3.1 under its EAP, offering developers a preview of the IDE's improved Swift support. This release builds upon the basic support for the Swift language introduced in June's 3.0.1 release, which included basic editing support and syntax highlighting for Swift. With the release of 3.1 developers can avail of most of the IDE's advanced capabilities when using Swift.

Codenvy Introduces Docker-Powered Developer Workspaces
Codenvy has evolved its flagship service from a cloud-based code editor to a full fledged, container-based development environment. Codenvy CEO and Founder Tyler Jewell told InfoQ that Codenvy is no longer an “IDE, but an orchestration engine” that wants to optimize “everything before the commit.”

JetBrains CLion, a C/C++ IDE, and ReSharper for C++
JetBrains has released CLion EAP, a new IntelliJ-based IDE for C and C++. The IDE comes with Code Completion, Code Generation (for constructors, getters/setters or methods), Intention Actions, Quick Fixes, Refactoring, Project Search and Code Navigation. They also want to bring ReSharper to Visual Studio C++.
