Jonas Bonér on Akka, Actors and Shared State, STM, Typesafe
Bio
Jonas Bonér is a co-founder of Typesafe and creator of the Akka event-driven middleware project. Previously he was a core technical contributor at Terracotta, working on core JVM-level clustering technology, and at BEA, as part of the JRockit JVM team. Jonas has also been an active contributor to open source projects including the AspectWerkz AOP framework and the Eclipse AspectJ project.
About the conference
The Erlang Factory is an event that focuses on Erlang - the computer language that was designed to support distributed, fault-tolerant, soft-realtime applications with requirements for high availability and high concurrency.
