Douglas Crockford is a Senior JavaScript Architect at Yahoo, well known for introducing the JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) format. He also serves on the ECMAScript committee. He has worked Atari and was director of technology at Lucasfilm and director of New Media at Paramount. He founded Electric Communities/Communities.com. He also was founded State Software, where he discovered JSON.
