Andreas is the Director of Research at Mozilla, leading a team of researchers and engineers working on various areas of the web stack. Previously, he worked as a project scientist at the University of California, Irvine, working in the Secure Systems and Languages Laboratory of Professor Michael Franz. His background is in secure systems, type-safe languages, dynamic compilation, and VMs.
