Pavlo Baron is Lead Architect with codecentric AG. Pavlo's passion is hacking code and playing with distributed systems and large data sets. In many cases, he would choose Erlang/OTP over some other well known, so called enterprise adopted technologies. Pavlo is frequent conference speaker and has written three German books: "Erlang/OTP", "Pragmatic IT Architecture" and "Fragile Agile".
About the conference
This year’s Erlang Factory SF Bay Area 2012 had an A-list sell-out line-up of speakers which included Erlang Inventors Mike Williams and Robert Virding discussing software approaches used in the industry and the unique features of the Erlang VM and a Keynote talk from Jim Zemlin, Executive Director of The Linux Foundation.

Hi Pavlon,
I bought an e-book copy of your Erlang/OTP book. My German is not great so i have needed Google translate and such to read, a bit poor. Looks like ver good book. Your English being good - may i ask whether and when an English translation is due?
Cheers,
Joe A.
