HyperGraphDB - Data Management for Complex Systems
Recorded at:

by Borislav Iordanov on Dec 15, 2010 |

Borislav Iordanov presents the architecture of HyperGraphDB, a special type of store based on hypergraphs – graphs with edges pointing to an arbitrary number of nodes and to other edges, comparing it with other graphs databases and its relationship to other NoSQL stores.

Borislav Iordanov has been programming for the past 14 years in domains such as language design and compiler development, embedded systems, web development, bioinformatics, financial software and natural language processing. His company, Kobrix Software, developed a web application framework (TICL) and received the 2009 Best Fit Integrator E-Government Award.

Strange Loop is a developer-run software conference. Innovation, creativity, and the future happen in the magical nexus "between" established areas. Strange Loop eagerly promotes a mix of languages and technologies in this nexus, bringing together the worlds of bleeding edge technology, enterprise systems, and academic research. Of particular interest are new directions in data storage, alternative languages, concurrent and distributed systems, front-end web, semantic web, and mobile apps.
