Using Monitoring and Metrics to Learn in Development
Recorded at:

by Patrick Debois on Jun 07, 2012 |

Patrick Debois discusses the current state of monitoring and metrics, how developers and the company can benefit from them, and how to improve the collection of metrics and the monitoring process.

Patrick Debois is a developer, manager, sysadmin, and tester. He first presented concepts on Agile Infrastructure at Agile 2008 in Toronto, and in 2009 he organized the first DevOpsDays . Since then he has been promoting the notion of ‘devops’ to exchange ideas between these groups and show how they can help each other to achieve better results in business.

For the second time we are launching the GOTO Copenhagen conference in May 2012 after a successful execution in 2011. GOTO Aarhus has been an annual event in Denmark since 1996 and attracts more than 1200 participants (formerly known as JAOO). The target audience for GOTO conferences are software developers, IT architects and project managers.
