About the conference

Code Mesh, the Alternative Programming Conference, focuses on promoting useful non-mainstream technologies to the software industry. The underlying theme is "the right tool for the job", as opposed to automatically choosing the tool at hand. By bringing together users and inventors of different languages and technologies (new and old), speakers will get the opportunity to inspire, to share experience, and to increase insight. Via presentations and case studies, we aim to raise awareness and extend the knowledge of all participants, mainstream and non-main stream users alike.

To InfoQ cameramen: Hey guys, I think you should film and concentrate on the CODE that is being typed on presentation screen (not the speakers face). Please!

It's already on the comments; the presentation is 90% about the code Paul is showing, and it's hard to see in the video. It's a pity, the presentation looks interesting!

Can you share the slides or the screenshots of the screen ? It is difficult to understand the author when he is mostly talking about some code that we can not see..

As previous comments said, the code is unreadable, several last presentations have the same problem...

  • Version with easier to read code

There's another version of the presentation, with much easier to read code, here: www.infoq.com/presentations/concurrency-actors
