Limin Fu has a multidisciplinary background, spanning from mathematics, through physics, computer science and bioinformatics. He has a very broad interest, and enjoys programming to do cool things. He created the Dao programming language mainly out of curiosity in his spare time. Currently he is doing research and software development in the field of bioinformatics at UC San Diego.

Strange Loop is a multi-disciplinary conference that aims to bring together the developers and thinkers building tomorrow's technology in fields such as emerging languages, alternative databases, concurrency, distributed systems, mobile development, and the web.
