    Brackley's technique, as I inferred, seems to break large query requests into much smaller components. I can't tell for sure, since a lot of his slides/video wasn't in sync with his speaking, and when he described visuals I didn't have the visuals myself to follow along.

    Assuming I have inferred correctly, how does this technique to N+1 Remoting Query Problem? See another recent InfoQ post, which mentions the N+1 Problem -
