Hibernate ORM 6.0 Delivers Improved Performance
Red Hat has released version 6.0 of their flagship product, Hibernate ORM, the popular object-relational mapping persistence utility. Significant new features include a migration to the Jakarta Persistence 3.0 specification, performance improvements to JDBC, and HQL translation and criteria translation. Amazon EC2 Introduces Automatic Recovery of Instances by Default
Amazon recently announced that EC2 instances will now automatically recover in case they become unreachable due to underlying hardware issues. Automatic recovery migrates the instance to a different hardware while retaining instance ID, private IP addresses, Elastic IP address, and metadata.
