AWS Expands Credential Lifecycle Management and Monitoring
AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) recently expanded available password policy rules to enable self-service password rotation. A new credential report provides visibility into the AWS credentials security status. AWS also added logging of AWS Management Console sign-in events to AWS CloudTrail.

Docker Acquires Orchard Labs

Jesper Richter-Reichhelm, Head of Engineering at Wooga, spoke at GOTO Amsterdam 2014 about unexpected difficulties to find commoditized back end services that suited Wooga's mobile games needs. Ansible Is Learning Windows

Google's Study Provides Insights into Programmers' Build Errors
Google engineers have recently published a research paper presenting an empirical study of 26.6 million builds produced during a period of nine months by thousands of developers at Google. The paper describes the build workflow, and analyzes failure frequency, compiler error types, and resolution efforts. Such a study, its authors say, can help improve the build process and support to developers.
