Fun: Important Facts about SOA

Bookmarks

There are many opinions on what SOA is or is not. There are many books on what SOA is or is not. Far too much information to digest for the average human being. So it's with great pleasure that we can announce the discovery of an important summary of pertinent facts about SOA (soafacts.com)

Two of the best in our opinion are:

  • Another ancient legend tells of 'One technology to rule them all, One technology to find them, One technology to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.' Again, not SOA.
  • SOA in a Nutshell is 7,351 pages spread over 10 volumes.

    I love these ones:

    - SOA is the correct answer to all zen koans.
    - SOA is the mistress to all CIOs.
    - Guns don't kill people, the SOA WS-* stack kills people.

But wait, I think we can do better. Here are some I just made up on my own. :)
    - SOA is the answer to the question that nobody ever asked
    - A service oriented approach is the key to every successful marriage
    - Saddam didn't have WMD, he had SOA
    - SOA is the key to exceeding Warp 10
    - Kazakstahn uses SOA to produce the worlds best Potassium

    Alright, who can do better?
