February’s WPF Toolkit Brings Three New Controls

The purpose of the WPF Toolkit and Futures project is to allow Microsoft to preview and ship feature updates outside of the normal .NET release cycle. Many of these features are culled from Silverlight, including several controls and the VisualStateManager.

There are three new controls available in the February release.

  • Accordion: The accordion control supports a stacked series of expander-like controls.
  • AutoCompleteBox: The AutoCompleteBox supports
  • Rating: The rating control is generally used for user-feedback.

The WPF Toolkit is released under the Microsoft Public License.
