QConSF '13: JS Creator Brendan Eich Keynote Confirmed; Engineering Culture, Hadoop, NoBackend

71% of speakers, 50% of keynotes, and 100% of tutorials have been confirmed for the 7th annual QCon San Francisco 2013. Also just confirmed: Brendan Eich - Javascript Creator and CTO of the Mozilla Foundation - whose keynote will survey interesting developments in the Web platform and analyze emergent trends.  QConSF will take place at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco at the Embarcadero on November 11-15, 2013.  There is still plenty of time to reserve your seat to save $400 by Oct 25th

QConSF features 3 full conference days (Nov 11-13, 2013), 2 days of tutorials (Nov 14-15, 2013), daily open spaces, and numerous opportunities for networking with your peers.  

Track Spotlight

QConSF will host more than 100 speakers, 6 concurrent tracks, and many breaks, parties, and opportunities for networking. If you have never attended a QCon be sure to watch some of our past sessions. There is no other event in the US with similar opportunities for learning, networking, and tracking innovation occurring in the Java, Web API, Data Science, HTML5/JavaScript, Mobile, Agile, and Architecture communities.

Registration is $1,995 (a $400 savings) for the 3 day event until October 25th, and increases afterwards every month. Group discounts are available. QCon is produced by and runs annually in London, San Francisco, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Tokyo and São Paulo.
