Amazon Zocalo Supports Larger Files and Native Mobile Clients

AWS has added Android and iOS mobile clients to Amazon Zocalo. It now supports file sizes up to 5TB.

Amazon launched a file sync and share service called Zocalo in July 2014. This service competes with enterprise file sharing services like Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox for Business and Box.

To make it more appealing for enterprise customers, AWS has added native Android and iOS clients for Zocalo. The free mobile apps can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store.

Along with it, customers also get to upload files up to 5TB in size to Zocalo. This service relies on Amazon S3's multi-part upload feature.
