Easy Continuous Integration for your Rails Project

Buildix is not the only Continuous Integration (CI) news coming out of ThoughtWorks this week. Jay Fields posted an informative description of the CI system that his team implemented to build their Rails projects. Interestingly, since they are all working on Mac workstations, the build notification system uses Growl.

Apart from the not-quite-ready DamageControl, there aren't any other Ruby-based CI products out there, perhaps because Ruby makes it easy to roll your own.
