VersionOne, LLC, a leading provider of Agile development management solutions, today announced the Summer 2006 release of V1: Agile Enterprise , the company’s integrated planning and management platform for Agile development.

With the latest release, VersionOne extends its platform for Agile development with the V1: Agile API, a secure, web service Application Programming Interface (API) that allows teams to tightly integrate V1: Agile Enterprise with external applications.  The V1: Agile API enables simplified integration in organizations deploying a service oriented architecture (SOA).

V1: Agile Enterprise is available as both a hosted, "on-demand" service and as a locally installed solution, with pricing options from a subscription for $30 per user, per month, to a $500 per user license, plus support and maintenance.

“Our customers have been looking for an effective way to integrate their Agile processes and project data with complementary software development tools,” said Robert Holler, President and CEO of VersionOne.  “With the V1: Agile API, customers can leverage their investment in existing tools and automate the flow of information throughout the software development life cycle.”
