Do We Need Another Key-Value Store?

Hendrik Muhs introduces Keyvi, a key-value store based on 'finite state', describing the concepts, explaining what makes it different and where it is useful.

Hendrik Muhs is a software engineer at Cliqz working on the Search Backend. Prior to Cliqz he worked at Fast mostly on NLP, at Microsoft on SharePoint Search, O365 and Exchange. After many contributions to various OSS projects he now maintains his own project as the author of keyvi, a key-value index optimized for size and speed. Keyvi powers Search at Cliqz, serving terabytes in very low latency.
