Sysinternals Live Launches

This item in japanese

In 2006, Microsoft purchased Winternals Software and hired Mark Russinovich to continue the development of the popular toolset.  Beginning this past Thursday, developers may now access a folder view of the latest version of the tools from http://live.sysinternals.com/.

Intent of the new site is to provide a persistent location for access to the popular toolset.  From the readme.txt on the site:

What is this?

This is a file share allowing access to all Sysinternals utilities. We have developed this to test an alternate distribution mechanism for our utilities.  This will allow you to run these tools from any computer connected to the Internet without having to navigate to a webpage, download and extract the zip file.

Along with the launch of the new site, Mark released version 2.0 of ZoomIt and version 11.20 of Process Explorer.  Both of which have appeared in Scott Hanselman's ultimate tool list since 2003.
