Regional Scrum Gathering India 2014 started with keynote session on “The Power of Relationships” by Niloofer Giri, traditional teacher of Vedanta. She talked about some unseen laws and principles that govern our relationships. She said knowing these laws mean that we don’t unknowingly injure others or ourselves while relating.

He talked about the distinction between the various roles in a successful agile transformation and characteristics accompany those responsibilities.

Daniel described the traits of real scrum coach. His presentation was focused on following 7 points:

  • Know why you want to be agile
  • Be clear on what a coach does
  • Understand the level of coaching you need
  • Change is good (and inevitable)
  • Quality vs Quantity
  • Trust is a bank account
  • Meaningful change requires patience

Third keynote was question answer session with Carol McEwan, Managing Director at Scrum Alliance. Delegates asked many questions around scrum certifications, collecting SEUs for CSP, renewal of certifications etc.

After lunch there were four tracks in which parallel sessions were happening. Sessions included talks, innovation games, case studies. In common area, coaching clinic was going on.
